We are looking to fill the soon-to-be vacant Marketing Manager position to grow the club’s brand engagement, and success off the field.
Reporting to our GM of Commercial & Marketing, you will lead and deliver an innovative marketing strategy that Unites & Excites fans of Hurricanes and Hurricanes Poua rugby.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Brand-led promotion and marketing of all home games across the club
- Execute high-level and engaging sports presentations for each home game, building out and aligning to the Hurricanes brand
- Provide marketing and communications support for pathways teams, community events, and wider club initiatives
- Merchandise marketing to achieve merchandise sales targets
- Oversight and management of digital and social media platforms
- Integration of commercial partner content and requirements
- Monitoring and reporting of marketing campaign effectiveness
- Managing and leading marketing projects in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced marketing manager, with a proven track record in successfully developing and delivering marketing and brand strategy. Experience in sport is not essential, but having an interest in sports and some understanding of rugby will be beneficial.
