West has an electric running game and is an exceptional goal kicker. Showed plenty of promise with the Blues in 2017 including memorably scoring a match-winning try against the British & Irish Lions at Eden Park. He returns to his home Super Rugby province in 2018 and is sure to be a popular addition to the Hurricanes.
