Hurricanes hooker Asafo Aumua will return to action on Saturday after being named in the club's under 20 squad to meet their Blues counterparts in Auckland.
Aumua, who made two appearances for the All Blacks on their end-of-year tour last season, has been sidelined with a rib injury.
Hurricanes Under 20 head coach Darren Larsen said Aumua would start the match and play the first half at Shadbolt Park.
"He's good to go and will play a solid 40 minutes."
Larsen said the match was an opportunity for the players who had been selected for the New Zealand Under 20 camp next week to perform in front of the coaches and selectors.
"Those who missed camp will also have the opportunity to put their hand up for it."
