With the Hurricanes and Highlanders putting together some of the top performances in Super Rugby this year, it's no surprise seats to Friday's McLean Park battle are being snapped up quick.
With just a handful of spots left in the stands, and close to 9500 tickets sold in total, the match is on track to being the busiest Napier fixture in Hurricanes history.
The Hurricanes played at the park in 2003, and again in 2011 and 2014 - both against the Bulls. A crowd of 9500 turned out to watch last year's match, which was won by the 'Canes, 25-20.
While stand seats will be hard to come by, the Hurricanes are hoping a decent chunk of the general admission tickets still available will be snapped up by supporters before Friday.
Chief executive James Te Puni said after the weekend's results, it was exciting to be able to take a game of this magnitude to Napier.
"There's a lot riding on this game for both teams - it will go a long way to determining the placings for the final six."
He said the team really valued the support of its Hawke's Bay fans and expected big numbers to turn out for a game like this.
"The team's looking forward to coming up on Wednesday and getting out and about in the community. They've got plenty planned which will hopefully give everyone in Hawke's Bay an opportunity to see them."
The Hurricanes will hold an open training at Tremain Field on Wednesday, June 3, where the public can watch them train from 3.30pm onwards, followed by a photo and autograph session. They will also spend time visiting schools, the children's hospital, a ripper rugby tournament, and local businesses.
The Hurricanes v Highlanders match kicks off at 7.35pm on Friday, June 5.
