Appointment of Hurricanes Alumni Foundation Board Members
The Hurricanes Alumni Foundation Trust is currently being formally established. The Trust Deed requires the appointment of 5 to 8 Original Trustees, otherwise known as Board Members. One of these Board Members shall be independent (i.e. not associated or formally associated with the Hurricanes Franchise or directly related to an Alumni member, beneficiary or Trustee).
The Hurricanes Alumni Foundation Trust invites applications from suitable, qualified individuals for these volunteer roles. A Skills Framework outlines the ideal experience and mix of strengths that are considered most likely to achieve the goals of the Trust. A mix of governance experience, rugby knowledge, business acumen and a range of strong personal qualities are identified in the Framework as core to a Board Members role.

Applications close on 21 October 2016 and The Board Appointments Panel will evaluate all applications and conduct interviews if necessary, and nominate suitable candidates for appointment by 28 October 2016, with a view to holding the first Board meeting within 30 days of appointment.
