This Saturday the Canes will be facing the Force at home in round 15 of the 2017 Investec Super Rugby competition. The Hurricanes have put 40 points on the Perth side in their last two meetings in 2015 and 2016, however the Force will be gunning for a win against a New Zealand team after having been defeated by all other kiwi franchises this season.

992 Beauden Barrett has scored 54 points (four tries, 14 conversions and two penalties) for the Hurricanes this season, and now has a total of 992 points in 93 Super Rugby appearances. He is poised to become just the fourth player in history to reach the milestone of 1000 Super Rugby points. The three players who have are: Dan Carter, Morne Steyn and Stirling Mortlock.
