The Hurricanes are again showing how much we love our members by offering free finals tickets in 2019.
After listening to feedback, the Hurricanes have re-introduced free finals for any seven game member, regardless of which category they have signed up to.
That will see members get into Our House at Westpac Stadium for any home final the Hurricanes qualify for.
As the only club in New Zealand to make the offer, Hurricanes members could be set to benefit hugely from the offer if our side can go deep into the Investec Super Rugby competition under new head coach John Plumtree.
Prices for the seven match membership package, which also includes a copy of “Our Story”, a glossy, hard covered book on the history of the Hurricanes, start at $129 for adults and just $149 for an adult and child.
That could see our members potentially watching a world class quarter-final, semi-final and grand final at no extra cost while the package also includes the right to purchase tickets to next year’s Rugby Championship Test between the All Blacks and South Africa – a dress rehearsal of the pool match at the next Rugby World Cup.
The Hurricanes have taken part in the play-offs for each of the last four years with six extra matches at Westpac Stadium, including two grand finals.
That has seen our members provide some great feedback on the benefits of signing up, including:

Hurricanes captain Dane Coles said members play “a massive part” in the performance of the squad.
“We want to come here (Our House) and perform for them and in front of our friends and family. We take so much pride playing in front of a packed out stadium and all the support we get is huge.”
They were comments echoed by Plumtree.
“We really want to impress our fans and grow the history of this jersey and our members play a big part in that,” he said.
“I think it’s really important for them to know just how important it is for them to get down to the stadium and support us as we try and defend our home ground. Get a membership and get involved because it’s a lot of fun and we will make sure we play really well for you.”
