The Hurricanes are excited to announce a new partnership with global transport specialists DSV.
The two year deal, which starts ahead of the 2019 Investec Super Rugby season, will see the Hurricanes team up with a company that has offices in more than 80 countries on six continents.
Hurricanes commercial manager Andrew Castle believed the partnership was an excellent fit between one of the leading sides in Super Rugby and one of the world's leading logistics providers.
"It is important for the Hurricanes to align with leading companies as true partners and we certainly see DSV as that," Castle said.
Lisa Jensen, Branch Manager, Air & Sea, Wellington said DSV are very proud to be joining forces with the Hurricanes as their official global transport and logistics partner for 2019/2020.
"The Hurricanes are not only a successful team on the field, but off the field, they boast a strong brand with leading Super Rugby viewership, club membership and connectivity on social media channels that extends internationally," she said.
"Entering a partnership with the Hurricanes is a great way for us to not only demonstrate our commitment to the Wellington region, but we also recognise the synergies between DSV and the Hurricanes values - working hard as a team to deliver results."
With a global reach, yet a strong local presence DSV provide world class supply chain solutions for thousands of companies every day.
"DSV is committed to providing our customers with global and competitive transport and logistics services of a consistent high quality and we are excited to partner with the Hurricanes to assist us in actively achieving growth in the New Zealand market," Jensen added. "We look forward to some very successful seasons ahead.”
