Latest Hurricanes records and statistics before meeting the Cheetahs in round 13

Our House! Can the Canes keep their streak alive

This Saturday the Hurricanes will meet the Cheetahs for the 11th time in Super Rugby. It’s the first time the two sides are set to face each other since the Hurricanes' 60-27 victory over the South African side in Wellington in 2014.

Since playing the Chiefs in round nine of the 2016 competition, the Hurricanes have not been defeated on their home turf.

Can the Canes continue their record breaking winning streak at Westpac Stadium?

11 The Hurricanes have won their last 11 matches in succession at Westpac Stadium - a record. The last team to beat the Hurricanes in Wellington was the Chiefs, on 23 April 2016, when they narrowly won 28-27.

7 The number of times the Hurricanes have beaten the Cheetahs in Super Rugby, having met ten times, meaning a loss of three.
