The Hurricanes Poua have named their last team of the 2025 SKY Super Rugby Aupiki season to play the Blues in Auckland this weekend. After five rounds, the team are eager to finish the competition and season well.
The Blues will be hosting the game as part of a thrilling double header at Eden Park. The Poua match kicks off at 4:35PM on Saturday 5 April, followed by the Hurricanes vs Blues. It’s expected to be an excellent evening of code for punters in the stands.
Jackie Patea-Fereti will lead her team again with vice captains Layla Sae and Iritana Hohaia set to line up too. The in-form Elinor-Plum King joins Sae and Olioli Mua in an impressive loose forward unit. Forne Burkin starts at hooker in the only change in the run on fifteen from the Chiefs Manawa game.
Head coach Fusi Feaunati said “We’re excited to take on the Blues this week. The team continues to prepare with the intent and effort to put on a performance we can be proud of, after a tough season. We’ll continue to be relentless in our pursuit of a positive outcome and I’m confident in the team selected to get the job done.”
