Thousands of junior rugby players right across the Wellington region are set to interact with the Hurricanes squad on Thursday night.
The annual 'Canes in Clubs' programme will see every member of the playing squad head to 18 Wellington clubs to interact and help out with junior players.
A large number of the Hurricanes squad grew up in Wellington and will take their chance to head back to where it all started for them.
Other members of the Hurricanes squad have simply adopted a club where they will head to help.
The clubs have decided themselves how best to use the players who will find out when they get there if they will be taking drills, running their own signing sessions or teaching the next generation of Hurricanes players how to improve some of their skills.
There are also other incentives for the junior players with them each receiving a free ticket to the Hurricanes versus the Reds Investec Super Rugby match at Westpac Stadium on May 18.
There will also be discounted tickets for parents and club supporters as the Hurricanes celebrate their club roots.
Please note: There will be a media opportunity at the Norths club with TJ Perenara who is preparing to play his 100th match for the Hurricanes.
