Poua vs Chiefs Manawa at FMG stadium, Hamilton, Saturday at 4:35PM.

Round 3 of SKY Super Rugby Aupiki and halfway through the competition the Poua will want to get some points on the board. The match in Hamilton will be energising with the Double Header being played and the kids round theme.

Head Coach Fusi Feaunati has made a number of changes to his match day 23 to play Manawa. Te Rauoriwa Gapper will make her first start of the season while Cassie Siataga moves to fullback.

Manawatu’s Rangimarie Sturmey comes into the team for the first time in 2025 and will partner Monica Togoai or Teilah Ferguson in the midfield. The powerful Olioli Mua comes onto the blindside.

Wellington legend Jackie Patea-Fereti will start at lock, whilst her Farah Palmer Cup teammate, Joanah Ngan Woo will bring energy from the bench.

Head Coach Fusi Feaunati said “We’re determined to go out onto the field this weekend and win in Hamilton. We’ve reviewed our last 2 weeks and adapted for the challenge that the Chiefs Manawa will lay down. We’re excited to have Rangimarie starting for the first time in 2025 and Te Rauoriwa will make her first start.”
